80 Watt CO2 Laser 1200 x 900 mm

We have a massive 80 watt CO2 Laser, with pass through doors on the front and back. Over-sized stock is no problem! With an active engraving area of 1200x900mm this laser can handle just about any project we throw at it! Objects up to 10 inches thick can be engraved thanks to the adjustable Z height.

We also have a rotary attachment. Enabling us to engrave round objects like glassware and pens.

A variety of materials can be cut or engraved using the laser. Results vary depending on the material being used, as does the maximum cutting thickness.

For makerspace members, the laser cutter is probably the easiest of the computer controlled tools to learn how to use. It uses a straightforward workflow; and accepts DXF or image files created in standard software like Inkscape or Illustrator. It's also easy to create 2D files for the laser in your choice of CAD software.
